Anyway, Mother's Day was no different. I put on a pink skirt and white shirt on Karina---nothing fancy, very comfortable, but of course it doesn't meet Karina's Code of Comfort and she began crying about it. I really didn't want to deal with it so Brandon came to the rescue and worked through it with her. We found out that the problem was the belt. Once that was removed everything was just fine.
She sat on the bathroom counter for me to do her hair and told me that the belt needs to go in her hair. I was a little confused but went along. She began to describe in great detail EXACTLY how her hair should look. She told me where to put the belt, how to tie, and to make sure it hung down on her back. Then, I needed to put the rest of her hair up in curls. When I was finished she looked at it for a minute, smiled, and then said, "Yep, that's it. I look just like Hannah Montana." I thought it was hillarious. We never watch the show but she somehow came up with a hairsyle that supposedly Hannah Montana has. Here are a few pictures of the cute kids on Mother's Day.

Cutest kids in Texas, for sure! I'm so jealous that Karina will actually let you do her hair! We don't have kicking and screaming fits about the clothes...but the hair? Oy!
soooo funny. the little girl i watch had a teenage babysitter a couple weeks ago who let them eat pizza in the livingroom and watch Hannah Montana (things they are never allowed to do!), and she hasn't stopped talking about it!
*so* funny! Isn't it hillarious where they come up with these ideas? She does look super cute - she knows what works! :)
And Luke looks *so* grown up in that picture. Cute!
xoxo
